Packaged in a compact, portable box with a hinged lid, this illustrated deck includes step-by-step instructions for 10 deep-breathing exercises and 50 essential stretches targeting muscles in four key regions: head and neck, upper body, trunk and lower back, and legs and feet. The accompanying booklet provides tips for safe stretching and recommended sequences for improved posture, relaxation, strength, balance, and more.
This deck is an updated and expanded version of the author’s The Stretch Deck (2002) with a modernized art program. As part of the new art and design direction, the cards are color-coded to differentiate between the five stretch and breathing categories. The art features a diverse representation, alternating between five characters, with modifications to the exercises that suit people of different ages and physical abilities.
